Frogs Finish 11th Overall at The Prestige at PGA WEST

LA QUINTA, Calif. - The TCU men's golf team finished 11th overall following a final round score of 291 on Tuesday at The Prestige at PGA WEST in La Quinta, Calif., at the TPC Stadium Course.
The University of California captured the team crown at The Prestige at PGA WEST after finishing with a team score of 864 while Stanford (867), Washington (867), San Diego (870) and Arizona State (876) rounded out the top five. The Frogs notched a three-round score of 894 (300-303-291) and were two shots back of a spot in the top-10.
Daniel Jennevret was the Frogs' top performer as the TCU sophomore finished tied for 26th overall with a 54-hole score of 223 (74-74-75). Pontus Gad finished one stroke behind his teammate as the TCU sophomore notched a score of 224 (73-78-73) en route to tying for 32nd overall.
Eli Cole finished tied for 41st overall following a three-round tally of 225 (76-78-71), including a team-best 71 in the final round of action. Tom Hoge concluded The Prestige at PGA WEST tied for 43rd overall with a 54-hole score of 226 (77-76-73).
Johan de Beer notched a score of 228 (79-75-74) en route to finishing tied for 50th overall while Scott Roudebush - who was competing as an individual - tied for 54th overall with a tournament score of 229 (81-76-72).
The Frogs will be back in action on Oct. 24 when TCU travels to Orlando, Fla., for the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational.
