FORT WORTH, Texas--Brooke Beeler is in her freshman season with the Horned Frogs.
Hailing from Butler, Ill., this freshman golf phenom wasted no time making herself at home on the TCU women's golf team. Leading the Frogs with a 73.3 stroke average this fall, Beeler was one of only two Frogs to play in all four fall tournaments. Returning to her home state for the Windy City Classic in Skokie, Beeler posted a career-best second place finish, earning TCU Female Athlete of the Week honors.
Below is an inside look at Beeler:

My brother started playing when he was young, I decided to follow his lead.

I would really like to play Pebble Beach.

Before each round I get into my zone.
What is something most people don't know about you?
I will do absolutely anything to get what I want.
Who would you like in your foursome for a scramble?
My foursome would include my brother, Tiger Woods and Adam Scott.
What is the best advice you ever received?
I live by the quote, "If you have to tell someone how good you are, then you aren't that good."
Why did you choose TCU?
I chose TCU because I liked the campus and the people around it. The coaches and the golf program were also a plus.
What is your biggest fear?
I am afraid of snakes.
How would your teammates describe you?
They would say I'm a bit quiet when you first meet me, but I'm very outgoing after that.
