-The Frogs improved to 6-3, including 3-0 against teams from the state of Texas. The squad snapped a four-game losing streak (true road games only) dating back to last season.
-TCU snapped a two-game losing streak to SMU and is now 7-5 against the Mustangs in head coach Jeff Mittie's tenure.
-TCU's 53 second-half points marked its most since a 53-point outburst during an 87-57 home win over UNLV on March 1, 2008.
-TCU tied a season high with nine 3-pointers for the fourth time this season. The Frogs have made at least six treys in each game.
-TCU's streak of 12 straight games shooting at least 70.0 percent at the free throw line came to an end. The squad shot only 65.2 percent Wednesday.
-TCU won the rebounding battle (46-38) for the sixth time in nine games. The Frogs totaled more boards than the opponent only six times all of last season.
-Emily Carter's 24 points matched the previous career high she set at Colorado State on Jan. 7, 2009.
-Helena Sverrisdottir recorded her third double-double of the season and the 13th of her career.
-Starr Crawford also recorded her third double-double of the season. She entered the day as one of only 31 players nationally, and one of only three freshmen, averaging double figures in both points and rebounds for the season.
-Sverrisdottir's 12 boads led the Frogs. It marked the first time this season a player other than Crawford led the team in rebounding.
