-TCU improved to 7-3 on the season with its second straight victory. The Frogs are 4-0 against teams from the state of Texas.
-TCU extended its home winning streak to 12 straight games dating back to a Jan. 13, 2009 loss to BYU.
-TCU earned its second-straight win over a top-10 team at home. The last top-10 opponent to enter the DMC was No. 3/5 Maryland, which suffered an 80-68 loss to the Frogs in the 2008-09 season opener.
-The win marked TCU's 16th against a ranked opponent, and its second this season. The Frogs had never defeated a ranked opponent prior to Jeff Mittie's arrival as head coach (1999-00).
-TCU is 2-2 in its last four games against Texas A&M after starting the all-time series 2-27.
-Helena Sverrisdottir's 20 points marked a season high. She did most of her damage in the second half, totaling only two points and one field-goal attempt in opening 20 minutes.
-Emily Carter recorded her 100th career 3-pointer in the second half.
-Saturday's attendance of 4,003 marked the 15th-largest home crowd in TCU women's basketball history. It was the largest crowd since 5,876 fans packed the DMC during a 61-52 Frog loss to Houston on Feb. 27, 2005.
