Karoly Named Academic All-District

FORT WORTH, Texas - Lizzy Karoly was named to the CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team on Friday.
Karoly, an Escondido, Calif., native, earned second-team honors after netting five goals, while dishing out one assist in 2009. The senior's selection to the All-District VI Team marks the second-consecutive season in which she has earned Academic All-District accolades. Earlier this fall, Karoly became TCU's all-time leader in goals scored for a career.
TCU finished the regular season at 9-9-0. The Frogs could still qualify for postseason play with a UNLV loss or draw to New Mexico on Saturday night in Albuquerque.
