FORT WORTH, Texas - The following are quotes from head coach Dan Abdalla and players following TCU's 6-0 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Friday night.
Dan Abdalla
"I was pleased with how sharp we came out in the beginning. I was very happy with the number of chances that we created. You have to give a lot respect to Arkansas-Pine Bluff and how they played defensively. They made it really difficult for us to score, which is a credit to their defense and goalkeeper. Overall, I thought we did a good job of keeping the ball and creating chances."
"I was happy that we were able to get so many kids into the ballgame. One of the good things about this group is that every single player is contributing and I was happy that the kids did well with it when they got their chance. That is really exciting."
"UTSA is going to be battle for us. It is going to be a game where we need to come out sharp and get into the game really quickly. They are a very good team and have a chance to win the Southland Conference."
