FORT WORTH, Texas - The following are quotes from head coach Dan Abdalla and players following TCU's 7-0 victory over East Tennessee State Sunday afternoon.
Dan Abdalla
"We knew it was a game where we wanted to get out of the gates quick and I was very happy with how we responded today. We talked about trying to be a little bit sharper in the first half and I thought we did that today."
"Defensively, I thought we did well. They have some good players and I thought we did a good job of being organized and getting our backs forward. Overall, I thought we covered well for each other and compacted the space better."
"We just have to keep doing what we are doing going into this week. The Texas game should be an easy one for the girls to prepare for. This will be a game to see where we are at as a team. We just have to prepare like we have been."
