Stanford Wins Bell Micro LPGA Classic

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Former TCU All-American Angela Stanford won the Bell Micro LPGA Classic Sunday in Mobile, Ala.
It was the second LPGA Tour title for Stanford. She won the 2003 ShopRite LPGA Classic.
Stanford carded a 1-over-par 277 to defeat Shanshan Feng by one stroke. Stanford had 5-under 67s in the second and third rounds.
A native of Saginaw, Texas, Stanford was a four-time All-American (1997-00) for the Horned Frogs, winning a TCU-record nine tournaments.
