• The Frogs were picked to win their third-straight conference crown this season.
• TCU is 4-0 in season openers under Jim Schlossnagle.
• TCU did not lose a weekend series in 2007, finishing a perfect 13-0.

• The Frogs welcomed 16 newcomers this season.

• Made their 15th appearance in the College World Series a year ago.

• The Titans have a new head coach this season in Dave Serrano, who took the UC Irvine Anteaters to their first-ever College World Series a year ago.
• The Titan roster also features 16 newcomers.
SERIES NOTES
• The Frogs and the Titans have squared off four previous times, with Fullerton holding a 4-0 advantage.
• CSF swept a three game series in California in 1987.
• The other meeting came in the Regionals in 1994 in Stillwater, Okla. The Titans won 4-1.
