TCU NOTABLES
The Frogs were picked to win their third-straight conference crown this season.
TCU is 4-0 in season openers under Jim Schlossnagle.
TCU did not lose a weekend series in 2007, finishing a perfect 13-0.
TCU returns 15 letterwinners and five starters from a year ago.
The Frogs welcomed 16 newcomers this season.
The Frogs are one of just 20 schools to appear in the last four Regionals and one of just three Texas schools to accomplish that feat.
LUPTON STADIUM NOTES
The Frogs own a record of 110-40 in the five-year history of the stadium.
The Frogs' series attendance record is 6,989 set in 2007 against San Diego State.
TCU is 89-31 at Lupton under Coach Schlossnagle.
CAL STATE FULLERTON NOTABLES
Made their 15th appearance in the College World Series a year ago.
Finished the season ranked as high as No. 7 with a record of 38-25.
They return 18 letterwinners from last year's squad as well as six starters in the field.
The Titans have a new head coach this season in Dave Serrano, who took the UC Irvine Anteaters to their first-ever College World Series a year ago.
The Titan roster also features 16 newcomers.
SERIES NOTES
The Frogs and the Titans have squared off four previous times, with Fullerton holding a 4-0 advantage.
CSF swept a three game series in California in 1987.
The other meeting came in the Regionals in 1994 in Stillwater, Okla. The Titans won 4-1.
