TCU Head Coach Gary Patterson:
Opening statement:
"Wyoming is a proud football team. The Cowboys are good on defense and their two running backs ran the ball well against us. The game wasn¹t about stats for us, we were just trying to win. Joe Glenn is a class act and so are his players."
On sophomore wide receiver Jimmy Young:
"I thought he was coming on in the last part of the season in 2007. He made a tremendous catch in Houston last year at the bowl game. He's a good player."
On the goals of the team down the stretch of the season:
"It's about nutrition and keeping people healthy. It's going to be a wild one in the next three weeks. Our next two ball games are on the road and we will have to find a way to bring our own energy. Every week you have to come play."
TCU senior linebacker, Robert Henson:
On TCU's slow start on defense:
"It took us a while to get adjusted to what they were doing on offense. I think the biggest change we had to make was that we had to get back to trusting each other to take care of our responsibilities."
On Wyoming's defense:
"Their defense plays with a lot of pride like we do. I think they were starting to get frustrated because of the way they were playing, but they are a good defense that never stops. They play hard."
On Devin Moore, Wyoming's running back:
"In my opinion, Devin Moore is the best running back that we have faced all year. He made us go back to the basics of tackling, which is break down and wait on him to make a move and go for him then. That guy plays hard, he's obviously the leader of his team and behind him, they can do a lot."
TCU sophomore wide receiver, Jimmy Young:
On setting a new TCU record for receiving yards in a game:
"It feels great, but it is something that I'm going to have to forget about for the next couple of weeks and wait until the season is over, because now my focus has to be on UNLV."
On TCU being known more as a defensive team:
"Our defense is good and they deserve the recognition that they receive, but as an offense, we want to come out and make a statement to let people know that we can play too. We have weapons on the offensive side of the ball, just like we do on defense."
Wyoming Head Coach Joe Glenn
On TCU's play:
"They just have too much speed and athleticism and we couldn't keep up with them. Not only did they make our offense and defense look bad, but our special teams as well."
On Wyoming's special teams:
"They beat our best guys and we just made mistakes. We didn't execute well and we were outplayed in every aspect of the game."
