Horned Frogs maintain Top 25 rankings

FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU football team is ranked 22nd by the coaches in this week's USA Today poll while holding the No. 23 position in the Associated Press Top 25.The Horned Frogs, who have won 11 in a row for the nation's second-longest current winning streak, opened the season with a 17-7 win at Baylor. Since the start of the 2005 campaign, TCU is 3-0 against Big 12 opponents. The Frogs won at Oklahoma last year and defeated Iowa State in the 2005 Houston Bowl.
Since TCU coach Gary Patterson arrived on campus as defensive coordinator in 1998, the Frogs are 11-6 against competition from leagues with automatic BCS bids.
The Frogs host UC Davis Saturday at 6 p.m.
