COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - TCU senior forward Casey Glass has been tabbed as Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Glass, a native of Corsicana, Texas posted a career-high five shots and scored the game-winning goal in the Horned Frogs' 1-0 victory over San Diego State on Oct. 28. Glass' five shots, including two on goal, were also a team high.
Glass scored her goal at the 49:08 mark of the match by rebounding a shot she fired off the crossbar and heading the ball into the right corner of the net. Glass' goal was her second this year, and gave TCU its first conference win of the season.
Earlier this season, Glass scored the first goal of her career in a 3-0 win over Texas-San Antonio on Sept. 23.
Glass is the third Horned Frog to receive Mountain West Player of the Week honors this season. Lizzy Karoly was named Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 25 and Caroline Starns was named Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 11.
