GoFrogs.com recently sat down with senior defender Casey Glass. A native of Corsicana, Texas, Glass will graduate in May with a degree in Spanish.
GoFrogs.com: What has been the most memorable game of your TCU career?
Casey Glass: There are two games that are my most memorable. One is playing against Texas A&M as sophomore because a lot of people I grew up with were at the game and despite there being thousands of fans there, I could still hear my friends. The other game was last spring against UT (Texas) because a lot of people didn't think we had a chance but I scored the first goal to go up 1-0 and we only lost 2-1.
GF: What are your plans after graduation?
CG: I'd like to get certified as a personal trainer and as a strength and conditioning coach. Eventually, I want to get my master's degree in Spanish.
GF: With the season moving into the last month, how much has the team come together since August?
CG: I think there has been a huge difference. Everyone was pretty open with all of freshman and we all got along at first, but now we are so much more cohesive as a team. Everything has come together in the last month. Now when we play, we know where everyone is going to be without even looking.
GF: You scored the first goal of your career against Texas-San Antonio and it just happened to be the same day as your 21st birthday, how exciting was that for you?
CG: That was just a fun game for us. Everyone was joking with me and saying that I was going to get a goal that game. Lizzy (Karoly) passed it right to my feet for the goal and it was a good birthday present from her.
GF: What has been your favorite experience while at TCU?
CG: I've just really enjoyed my time with my roommates. I live with a friend on the swim team and two cheerleaders and I enjoy making up fun things to do with them and just hanging out.
GF: What are you going to remember most about this senior class?
CG: I will remember the fact that we all made it through so much together. I think we started with 15 in our class as a freshman and now there are just six. We all have such a good relationship.
GF: If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would purchase?
CG: It would be a black 2006 Acura 3.2 TL Type 6.
GF: If you could go anywhere in the world for one day, where would you go and why?
CG: Spain because I always have wanted to go to Barcelona and I've never gotten to really use my Spanish.
GF: If you could be on any magazine cover what would it be and why?
CG: ESPN The Magazine because they have the best cover photos and they always make the athletes look really good.
GF: What one thing do you take with you wherever you go?
CG: My cell phone.
