- TCU won at San Diego State for the first time in three tries.
- Under coach Jeff Mittie, the Lady Frogs now own a record of 93-1 when holding the opposition to 60 points or less. TCU is 70-7 under Mittie when scoring at least 75 points.
- TCU sophomore forward Lorie Butler-Rayford notched her second double-double of the season and the fourth of her career with 11 points and 13 rebounds. It was the Lady Frogs' first double-double since junior guard Natasha Lacy put up 15 points and 17 rebounds against Southern California on Dec. 4.
- TCU junior forward Ashley Davis took sole possession of fourth place on the school's career list for threes attempted with 347. She is one away from tying Ebony Shaw for fourth in makes at 120.
- The Lady Frogs plus-12 rebound margin was the best this season.
- Davis blocked a career-high three shots.
- Davis continued her hot shooting at the free-throw line, extending her streak to 13 consecutive makes and 29 for her last 30.
- TCU sophomore guard Adrianne Ross reached the 20-point plateau for the fourth time this season and the second time in four league games.
- A 14-5 run during the first four minutes to open the second half helped key TCU to the victory. The Lady Frogs later went on a 12-0 run and led by as many as 29 in the second half (71-42, 8:49).
- TCU recorded the 350th win in the program's history and 275th at the NCAA Division I level.
