Emanuelsson leads charge for TCU women's golf team

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Led by Elin Emanuelsson's 2-under-par 71, the TCU women's golf team climbed into 10th place after the second round of the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational.The Frogs began the day in 14th place. Emanuelsson (71-78--149) and Catherine Matranga (74-75--149) are both 25th individually, eight shots behind Ashley Knoll (Texas A&M) and Carolina Llano (Pepperdine) who are deadlocked for the lead at 5-under 141.
In addition to their individuals being tied at the top, Texas A&M and Pepperdine are even in the team category with a two-round total of 586. The top-five teams are separated by just two strokes.
