FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Nile Murry had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead TCU past South Florida 70-53 on Wednesday night.
It was the first career double-double for Murry, who hit four 3-pointers and also had six assists. Marcus Shropshire added 13 points for TCU (18-11, 8-7 Conference USA).
TCU's Corey Santee scored just five points on 1-of-9 shooting, but it was enough to move him into second place on the school's all-time scoring list. He now has 1,735 career points, trailing only Darrell Browder's 1,886 points.
Terrence Leather and Brian Swift each had 13 points for South Florida (11-15, 4-11), which never led.
