Recap | Final Stats | Quotes | Photo Gallery
- TCU (10-1, 8-0) has reached 10 wins for the fourth time in the last six seasons.
- Gary Patterson became the first TCU head coach to record three 10-win seasons. Patterson has been on staff for four of the eight 10-win campaigns in Frog history. He was defensive coordinator under Dennis Franchione in the 2000 season.
- TCU posted its first undefeated conference record since the 1938 national championship team when it competed in the Southwest Conference. It's only the fourth perfect league mark in school history. It's also the third undefeated conference record (BYU, 2001; Utah, 2004) in Mountain West Conference history.
- TCU's nine-game winning streak is its longest since winning 12 in a row in a stretch that spanned the final two games in 2002 and the opening 10 contests in 2003.
- The Frogs now have the third-longest winning streak (9) in the nation behind only USC (32) and Texas (17).
- The Frogs' 48-point margin of victory was its largest since a 62-7 win over SMU on Nov. 24, 2000. Six of the Frogs' last seven victories have been by at least 14 points.
- TCU did not allow a touchdown in its final two games of the regular season, holding Colorado State and UNLV to three field goals.
- The 51 points equal a TCU season-high set in a 51-50 overtime win at BYU (Sept. 24).
- Cory Rodgers' 55-yard third quarter scoring grab from Jeff Ballard enabled him to tie Mike Renfro (1974-77) for the TCU career record for touchdown catches at 17.
- Rodgers' 12-yard second-quarter reception enabled him to become the sixth player in TCU history to reach the 2,000-yard mark. He closed the game with 2,065 yards.
- Rodgers' 9-yard touchdown run represented his longest carry of the season. It was his fifth scoring run of the year. Rodgers has 12 touchdowns overall in 2005 and 29 in his career.
- Chris Manfredini's three field goals made him 12-of-12 on the season and 22-of-23 in his career.
- Brown's three rushing touchdowns surpassed his season total of two entering the game. He now has five scoring runs on the season to go with three scoring receptions.
- With its 34-3 lead tonight, TCU has outscored its opponent 60-9 in the first half of the last two games. The Frogs led Colorado State 24-6 at the intermission last week.
- TCU had two touchdowns on fourth downs, a 26-yard pass from Ballard to Quentily Harmon and a 1-yard run by Aaron Brown.
- With three first-half catches, Ryan Pearson surpassed his season total for receptions (two) entering the game.
- Harmon's touchdown reception was his first of the season and seventh of his career.
- Drew Coleman's interception was his fourth of the season and fifth of his career.
- TCU held the UNLV offense to zero or negative yardage on 14 of 25 rushing plays (56%) and 19 of 31 passing plays (61.3%) for a combined total of 33 on 56 plays (58.9%).
