TCU General
* TCU is now 1-1 all time against USF in a series that has been decided by a total of four points in two games.
* TCU had a 15-game regular season home winning streak snapped. Prior to tonight, the Frogs' last regular season loss suffered at Amon G. Carter Stadium came on Oct. 30, 2001, against East Carolina.
* TCU is now 3-4 all time in overtime games, including 1-1 this season.
* TCU has won eight of its last 10 games decided by seven points or less, but has lost two of its last three.
* The Horned Frogs have lost two straight games for the first time since dropping the 2001 Galleryfurniture.com Bowl and the 2002 opener against Cincinnati. It is the first time that the team has had back-to-back losses since falling to East Carolina and UAB in 2001 and just the second time since 1999.

TCU Offense
* Lonta Hobbs was on the receiving end of two TD passes from Brandon Hassell and added two rushing touchdowns. He has now scored a total of 10 touchdowns in four games this season.
* Hobbs has had two rushing scores in all four games this year.
* Hobbs has surpassed Jim Swink to move into fourth place on TCU's all-time rushing touchdown list with 29.
* Brandon Hassell is now 7-3 as a starting quarterback.
* TCU has scored a total of 171 points through four games this year, an average of 42.8 per game.
TCU Defense
* Marvin Godbolt had 3.0 sacks, 5.0 tackles for loss and forced a fumble.
* Two USF turnovers forced by TCU were turned into 14 Horned Frog points.
* Martin Patterson had 20 tackles, an individual high for the Frogs this year, and just one shy of the 10th most in TCU history.
* USF was 13-for-21 on third-down conversions for the game. (TCU was 1-for-12.)
