Frogs Eliminated From ITA National Indoors

Ann Arbor, Mich. - Senior Story Tweedie-Yates and junior Helena Besovic each dropped their matches today at the ITA National Indoor Champsionships to be eliminated from the competition.
No. 59 Tweedie-Yates was the first to play as she fell in the Round of 16 against No. 4 Julie Coin of Clemson 6-3, 6-3. The loss is only the second of the season for the Horned Frog senior as she closes out the fall with a 10-2 record.
Playing in the consolation draw, Besovic bowed out of the tournament when she fell to No. 32 Shadisha Robinson of Georgia 7-5, 6-1. Besovic, who was named the C-USA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Month for October, finishes the fall with a team-leading 15-4 record.
