The TCU/ESPN Sports Network has announced several changes to their football broadcasts, which will take place over the next several weeks.
Due to contractual obligations with Major League Baseball, the TCU-Army game will be broadcast on 50,000-watt WBAP-AM Radio (820), along with KTCU-FM (88.7) in Fort Worth, rather than ESPN 103.3 FM. The award-winning team of Brian Estridge, John Denton and Jeff Williams describe all the action from Amon G. Carter Stadium. Game time is set for 6:05 p.m.
The TCU at USF game on Friday, October 10 will now air on ESPN2, rather than ESPN, the network has announced. Kickoff at Raymond James Stadium is set for 8:00 p.m. EDT (7 p.m. CDT).
The TCU at Houston game, set for Saturday, October 25, will be televised live in the Metroplex on KTXA, UPN-21. Mark Followill will provide the play-by-play voice, with Newy Scruggs handling the color commentary. Dave Shore will provide sideline reports. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
As usual, the Gary Patterson Show will be held on Thursday, October 2, beginning at 6 p.m. at Pedro's Trailer Park, located at 2731 White Settlement Road in Fort Worth. The show can be heard live on ESPN (103.3 FM) and KTCU (88.7 FM). However, if the Major League Baseball playoff game interrupts the broadcast, the coach's show would be tape-delayed on ESPN and carried at a time and day to be determined.
