Kick off the 2003 football season by joining the TCU football squad in their annual "Meet the Frogs" day. Activities begin at noon on Saturday, August 23 at Amon Carter Stadium with a mock scrimmage. Following the scrimmage will be a kids' clinic and an autograph session. TCU head football coach Gary Patterson, Horned Frog players, the TCU cheerleaders and SuperFrog will all be in attendance.
At 12:30 p.m., children will be invited onto the field for a kids' clinic where they will rotate through six stations (quarterbacks/wide receivers, running backs, offensive line, defensive line, linebackers and cornerbacks/safeties). It's a great opportunity for the youngsters to spend time learning the fundamentals of the game from the Horned Frog players. A cheerleading station featuring the TCU cheerleaders will also be available for those interested.
An autograph session hosted by the TCU players on the east side of the stadium will conclude the day's activities. Throughout the day, Horned Frog fans may enjoy complimentary Pepsi products, popcorn and frozen treats. Kids will be able to sign up to join the Jr. Frog Club and fans may purchase season tickets or find their seats for upcoming games.
Sponsors for the annual "Meet the Frogs" day include the TCU Alumni Association, Sodexho: "Your Horned Frog Concessionaire", the TCU Frog Club, and TCU Sports Marketing. For more information, contact the TCU Alumni Office at (817) 257-7803.
