FORT WORTH, Texas - The 32nd ranked TCU men's tennis team took down the 30th ranked Rice Owls Wednesday in Houston at the Jake Hess Tennis Stadium. The Frogs won the doubles point, giving them the early lead, then won three of six singles matches. The other three singles matches did not finish.
The Owls played singles without their 28th ranked Robert Searle as well as without No. 37 William Barker, however, Barker did participate in doubles. Barker did not, however play doubles with his brother Richard Barker. The duo is ranked No. 1 in the country.
The Frogs move to 12-7 on the season, with the final regular season as well as home match coming on Saturday April 12 at Noon against SMU.
