Women's Tennis Earns Two Seed at C-USA Championship

CHICAGO, Ill. - Tulane and TCU are the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, respectively, in the 2003 Conference USA Women's Tennis Championship, set to get underway on Saturday, April 12 in New Orleans. TCU, which has a first-round bye, will play the winner of the DePaul/Marquette match on Sunday, April 13 at noon.
The Green Wave, ranked 28th nationally, are 14-4 coming into the championship. TCU is 55th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings. The Horned Frogs are 9-9 prior this weekend's championship.
Saturday's schedule is as follows:
9:00 a.m. - (7) DePaul vs. (10) Marquette
9:00 a.m. - (8) UAB vs. (9) East Carolina
Noon - (3) Houston vs. (13) Saint Louis
Noon - (4) Memphis vs. (14) Southern Miss
3:00 p.m. - (5) South Florida vs. (12) Charlotte
3:00 p.m. - (6) Louisville vs. (11) Cincinnati
