TCU vs. Washington State: This is the first-ever meeting between TCU and Washington State. The Cougars are 2-0 this season, picking up a pair of home wins over San Jose State (76-68) and Southern Utah (72-66). TCU is 1-1 under first-year head coach Neil Dougherty, having suffered a heartbreaking 87-84 overtime loss to SMU on Sunday. This game will pit a pair of high-scoring guards, TCU's Junior Blount (30.5 ppg) and Washington State's Marcus Moore (31.5 ppg). The last time the Horned Frogs faced a Pac-10 school was Nov. 18, 1999, when the team lost to California 91-83 in the Top of the World Classic in Fairbanks, Alaska. TCU is 5-8 all time against schools that comprise the current Pac-10 Conference.
As a thank you during the Thanksgiving holiday, TCU is offering a 2-for-1 ticket deal to the men's basketball game. In order to receive the special buy-one, get-one-free deal, fans must bring their TCU-Memphis football game ticket stub to the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum ticket booth following the completion of the football game.
