TCU dominated the doubles, losing only a combined three games between the three matches. The Frogs went on to claim all but one of the singles slots to pick up the 6-1 win.
Rice's lone point came at four singles where Jeri Gonzales rallied from a 6-2 first set loss to beat TCU's Leoni Weirich in the final two sets. Weirich has struggled as of late, losing four consecutive matches after beginning the spring 7-0.
TCU returns home for its next match this Thursday, April 5, where they will face North Texas at 2 p.m. The match will be played on the Bernard "Tut" Bartzen Varsity courts at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
