TCU won the doubles point with wins at nos. 2 and 3. TCU's Rosa Perez and Saber Pierce defeated Yumi Veda and Linda Mattsson, 8-2, at no. 2. Leoni Weirich and Paty Aburto beat Camila Sagae and Amelie Detriviere 9-8 at no. 3.
In singles action, TCU won at nos. 1, 2 and 4, while Mississippi State won no. 5. Matches at positions 3 and 6 were not completed. After losing the first set, 1-6, junior Katrin Gaber came back to defeat Amelie Detriviere at no. 1, 6-3, 6-2, in the last two sets.
TCU travels to South Carolina this weekend to play at Furman on Friday, March 16, and 20th-ranked South Carolina on Saturday, March 18.
