#34 TCU Beats #49 Tulane in Women's Tennis

In singles play TCU won at positions 2 through 4. At the no. 2 position, sophomore Rosa Perez defeated Julie Morris, 6-2, 6-4. Perez is now 7-2 on the season. Freshman Paty Aburto shutout Joyce Bergman at the no. 3 position, 6-0, 6-0. Aburto's record improves to 9-2.
TCU evened its dual record to 1-1 while Tulane dropped its second consecutive match and moves to 2-2.
The Horned Frogs travel to College Station Wednesday, Feb. 14, to face #36 Texas A&M. TCU returns to the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center on Saturday, Feb. 17, when they open their final season in the WAC against UTEP.
