Greenberg Captures All-Conference Honors

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Conference USA announced its 2001 women's soccer all-league teams and postseason award winners at the annual pre-tournament banquet Tuesday evening at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. TCU freshman forward Laura Greenberg was among those honored, earning a spot on the All-Freshman Team. Greenberg was the only Horned Frog named to an all-league team.
A native of Mission Viejo, California, Greenberg attended Capistrano Valley High School before joining TCU this fall. She led this year's squad in goals (8) and points (16) while taking only 28 shots. Her eight goals accounted for more than 30% of the Frogs' offense this season.
"It's a well deserved honor," said TCU head coach Dave Rubinson. "She worked hard all year and was a key player for us during the season."
