Women's Tennis Team Competes at Florida State

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - TCU Women's Tennis The TCU women's tennis team completed the first day of competition at the 2001 Lady Seminole Classic hosted by Florida State.
Sophomore Paty Aburto has advanced in to the third round of the Singles A flight. She will take on Dumitrescu of Florida State in her next match. Junior Rosa Perez will meet Maurer from Auburn in the third round of the Singles B draw.
On the doubles side, the team of senior Leoni Weirich and junior Brenna Shackelford will take on Jonsko and Woods from Auburn in the B Doubles consolation round. Senior Katrin Gaber and freshman Karla Mancinas have also moved on to the fourth round of the B Doubles conoslation bracket with a bye.
