Women's Soccer Match Cancelled

SHREVEPORT, La. -- The TCU women's soccer team's match against the Ladies of Centenary Friday afternoon was cancelled due to inclement weather in the 68th minute of play. The match was scoreless when referees called the game with lightning lurking close by in the area. According to NCAA rules, 70 minutes of a match must be played in order for it to count towards teams' record. Consequently, no statistics will be reflected in either team's season totals. No makeup date for the match has been scheduled.
The Frogs return home for their next matchup against the Rice Owls on Wednesday, October 10, at 4 p.m. The 2001 season is the inaugural year of women's soccer for the Owls.
