NORMAN, OKLA. (September 17) -- The TCU womens soccer team lost its third match of the season on Sunday afternoon, September 17, to the Sooners of Oklahoma by a score of 2-1. The Frogs record dropped to 5-3-1 on the season with the loss.

After a scoreless first half, Oklahoma struck quickly in the second half when sophomore forward Shannon Wing banged in a rebound in front of the goal after 1:17 had ticked off the clock. Twelve minutes later, junior forward Jonette Coquat scored her fourth goal of the year to put the Sooners up 2-0.

TCU recorded its only goal in the 79th minute of play, when senior midfielder Jennifer Maunder scored her third goal of the season on a pass from sophomore forward Nicole Carman.

The Frogs head to North Carolina this week on Friday, September 22, to play the Duke Blue Devils in Durham at 7 p.m. TCU will then play the number one ranked North Carolina Tar Heels on Sunday, September 24, at 1 p.m. The North Carolina match will also be played in Durham.
