Coach Franchione Welcomes Freshmen To TCU

The freshmen class will participate in their first practice on Wednesday, August 9 at 7 p.m. and will return to the practice field on Thursday morning for the first of twice-daily practices. All TCU practices will be held at the Morris Practice Fields (located behind Daniel-Meyer Coliseum).
Twin cornerbacks Jerome and Jerrod Braziel reported with the class on Tuesday. They were national top-100 recruits when they signed with TCU in February 1999. Initially, they did not meet academic requirements, thus electing to sit out for a year. They will have four years of eligibility remaining.
TCUs varsity will report on Friday, August 11. Full squad workouts will begin on August 15. TCU opens the 2000 season on September 9 against Nevada.
