Frogs Climb to 21st in ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll

FORT WORTH, Texas (Aug. 28) -- Despite not playing over the weekend, the TCU Horned Frogs climbed to 21st
in the latest ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. The top-25 poll was released
Monday, August 28. The Frogs were ranked 23rd in the ESPN/USA Today
preseason poll. TCU is also ranked 20th in the Associated Press' top-25
poll this week.
The Frogs open the season on September 9, when they travel to Reno, Nevada to face the Nevada Wolfpack. This weekend, Nevada travels to Oregon to open the 2000 season. TCU will return to Amon G. Carter Stadium on September 16, when they host Northwestern in a Fox Sports Net nationally televised contest.
