Nebraska No. 1 in FWAA Preseason Poll; TCU Ranked 21st

In a preseason poll of 44 FWAA members, Nebraska edged Florida State by two points. Nebraska received 23 first-place votes and the Seminoles 19. Texas and Michigan received the other first place votes.
The poll is analyzed and each team broken down in detail in the national section of FWAA's inaugural E-Guide, college football's most complete and comprehensive source for the 2000 season.
