Two Soccer Frogs Earn First-Team All-WAC Honors

Dick lead the Frogs in scoring during the regular season with 21 points, coming off ten goals and one assist. Six of her goals came in conference play. DeRose played and started all 19 of the Frogs' matches, scoring one goal. Her goal tied the Nevada match at 1-1 back on October 22, a game which the Frogs won 2-1 in overtime to capture a tie for second place in the WAC.
Midfielder Kim Harvey of SMU was named freshman of the year, scoring nine goals, six of which came in conference play. Harvey was second on the team in scoring.
Senior forward Jill Pearson of Fresno State was named the WAC Player of the Year, leading the conference in goals with 15, and points with 37 in 18 matches.
George Van Linder of SMU was named the WAC Coach of the Year, leading his team to a 13-4-1 record and a 6-0-1 mark in the WAC. SMU finished the regular season ranked 18th in the country and only allowed two goals in conference games.
