Drake Tops Men's Soccer, 5-0

DES MOINES, Iowa (October 27) -- The TCU men's soccer team lost to the Drake Bulldogs on Friday, October 27, by a score of 5-0 in a Missouri Valley Conference match. The loss dropped TCU's record to 7-9 on the year and 3-6 in conference play.

All five of Drake's goals came in the first half against TCU goalkeeper Michael Lahoud. Lahoud was replaced by sophomore Shane Bowen in the 36th minute of play. Bowen played the rest of match and recorded six saves and did not give up a goal.

TCU will continue Missouri Valley Conference play on Sunday, October 29, when they travel to Omaha, Nebraska, to take on the Creighton Bluejays at 1 p.m. The men conclude their season on Friday, November 3, when they take on #2 SMU in Dallas at 7:30 p.m.
