Fresno State defeats TCU in women's soccer

FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 17) - Fresno State's Jill Pearson scored a hat trick to lead the Bulldogs over the TCU Horned Frogs, 3-1, Sunday in women's soccer action.
Fresno State improves its record to 12-3-1, 3-0-1 WAC, while TCU falls to 9-7, 2-2 WAC.
TCU freshman forward Jenn Coulson (Southlake, Texas/Carroll HS) scored the game's first goal at 13:01. Fresno State answered with three consecutive goals by Jill Pearson. Pearson first scored in the 23rd minute and then again in the 33rd. She scored her third goal at 66:07 to insure the win for the Bulldogs.
TCU returns to the TCU Soccer Complex on Wednesday, Oct. 20, to face SMU at 4 p.m. at the TCU Soccer Complex.
