TCU's record drops to 3-1 while Baylor improves to 3-1.
Baylor took the lead early when Courtney Saunders scored at 9:19 from an assist by Tamura Crawley. TCU sophomore keeper Keith-Ann Wagner (Arlington, Texas/Martin) made four saves in the first half and six in the second, but was unable to keep Megan Townes' shot out of the gaol at 54:22 to give Baylor its final goal.
"Baylors a good team," said TCU head coach David Rubinson. "We just weren't able to get our offense going like we have the last three games."
TCU travels to Amherst, Mass., this weekend to play Harvard and Massechuesetts in the UMass Classic on Sept. 10 and 12. The Frogs return home to the TCU Soccer Complex when they host Oklahoma, Saturday, Sept. 18, at 1 p.m.
