Sassan SahbaΒ arrived at TCU in 2009 as an intern and has seen multiple promotions to his current role as Senior Associate Athletics Director, Facilities and Event Operations.
SahbaΒ has oversight of all TCU athletics facility projects. As part of supervising gameday operations, he is the game manager for football and men's basketball.
Sahba received his first promotion to the full-time role of TCU's facilities manager in 2010. He then became coordinator of athletic facilities in 2012 and assistant athletics director for gameday management in 2017. He was promoted to his current position of associate athletics director in 2021.
A native of Garland, Texas, SahbaΒ is a 2008 graduate of Texas Tech where he earned a B.S. in exercise sports sciences with a minor in English. He then added his master's in sport management from Tech in 2010. SahbaΒ earned a second master's degree in educational leadership from TCU in 2016.
During his time as an undergraduate in Lubbock, Sahba was a marketing and promotions intern and assisted with Raider Alley. He was also a facilities assistant at United Spirit Arena.
Sahba and his wife, Caroline, have a daughter, Olivia, and a son, Kam.
