Greg Featherston returned to TCU in August 2022 and currently serves as Deputy Athletics Director for Regulatory Affairs.
Featherston, a member of the executive team for TCU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Mike Buddie, oversees all aspects of TCU's compliance with NCAA rules, regulations, guidelines and policies. He is also the department’s governance liaison to the NCAA and Big 12 Conference. In addition to his compliance duties, Featherston serves as the primary sport administrator for men's basketball and men's and women's golf.
Originally a Horned Frog for two years (2013-14) as Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance, Featherston then served as Senior Associate Athletics Director for Internal Affairs at West Virginia (2016-22). With the Mountaineers, he held oversight of the compliance and sport medicine units and was the sport administrator for the cross country/track and field, volleyball and wrestling programs.
Featherston has also held various positions at Georgetown, Maryland, Ole Miss and Manhattan. At Georgetown, he was the sport administrator for field hockey and women's lacrosse, in addition to compliance oversight.
A 1999 graduate of Oklahoma State with a degree in communications, Featherston earned an additional bachelor's degree in economics with a minor in business from Texas in 2000. He received a master’s degree in sport administration from Louisville in 2005.
