Finished eighth in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:46.56 at the NIC (March 11-13) … Earned a sixth-place finish in the 100 backstroke (49.46) and a fifth-place finish in the 200 backstroke (1:46.05) at the Big 12 Championships (Feb. 23-26) … Won the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:54.19 against UT Permian Basin (Oct. 9) … Placed third in the 200 backstroke against UIW (Sept. 24).
JUNIOR (2020-21)

Bronze medalist in the 200 back. Notched an NCAA B cut in the 200 back. Placed 16th in the 50 yard freestyle (22.81), 12th in the 100 yard backstroke (52.48), and tenth in the 200 yard backstroke (1:52.77) in the TYR Fall Classic at FIU (Oct.4-5) ... Finished fourth in the 200 yard butterfly (1:54.87), second in the 200 yard backstroke (1:52.67), and third in the 100 yard backstroke (52.20), was part of the 200 yard medley relay and placed fourth (1:37.34) in the Pepperdine Malibu Invite in Malibu (Oct.11-12) ... PERSONAL
Knoch comes to TCU from Edmond, Okla., as a backstroke and mid-distance swimmer and the third highest ranked recruit in Oklahoma. During the spring of his senior year, Knoch won a pair of events at the Speedo Champions Series, winning the 200 back and 200 fly. As a junior, Knoch won the 200 back state championship with a mark of 1:55.21, while earning silver in the 200 fly and 200 free.
