2015-16 | JUNIOR
Played in 12 tournaments with five top 20 finishes … recorded a 74.54 scoring average … finished second at the Redhawk Invitational with a 221 … carded a season-low 211 twice at the Nike Collegiate Invitational and the Amer Ari Invitational … was a season-best five under par at the Amer Ari Invitational where he finished tied for 13th … matched his career-low round of 67 on the second day of the Amer Ari … recorded five sub-70 rounds … his nine par or better rounds were third most on the team.
2014-15 | SOPHOMORE
Saw action in 13 tournaments for the Frogs with three top 20 and one top 10 finish... Opened season with four consecutive tournaments finished over par before a two-under par performance at the Amer Ari Invitational... Showed continual improvement on the scoreboard throughout the season before shining in the postseason, finishing T-16th at the Big 12 Championships at Southern Hills Country Club by posting scores of 73-78-70-72 for a 13-over par score... Had best tournament of the year at the NCAA Washington Regional at Gold Mountain Golf Club, posting a seven-under par score to finish tied for fifth in the 75 person field... Closed out season at NCAA Championships tied for 84th as team finished 10th nationally.
2013-14 | FRESHMAN
Castagnara competed in 11 of the 12 tournaments in his first season with the Horned Frogs... earned a 75.32 stroke average... registered six rounds of par or better... recorded top-30 finish (T-29th) in collegiate debut at Crooked Stick Intercollegiate with a 13-over 229... posted first-career top-10 showing with an eighth-place finish at the Wofford Invitational... posted three-sub par rounds of 68, 71, 71en route to a career-best six-under 210 in Spartanburg... Also fired a sub-70 round (69) at the Tucson National Invitational Tournament.
