Shaq Lee

Shaquille Lee joined TCU in January 2026 and serves as the Assistant Director of Football Strength and Performance.
Lee came to Fort Worth following three seasons (2023-25) as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Michigan State where he worked with the football program.
Prior to East Langsing, Lee spent the previous two seasons as an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Syracuse football program (2021-22). He also worked with the Notre Dame strength and conditioning staff in the spring of 2021.
Prior to his stint at UND, Lee worked at Missouri Southern as the assistant director of strength and conditioning. He also has graduate assistant and internship experiences at Midwestern State, Kentucky, Oregon and his alma mater, Indiana State.
Originally from Gary, Indiana, Lee played one season of football at St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana, for the 2012 season, before transferring to Indiana State in 2013. While at Indiana State, he earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, with a minor in strength and conditioning. He later completed a master’s program with a concentration in coaching in 2019 at Indiana State.
Lee is SCCC certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa), holds a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Performance certification, and is also certified in Functional Range Conditioning (FRCms).
