Played in nine games after being sidelined by injury early in the season ... placed fifth on the team with 58 yards rushing on 16 carries ... ran for a career-high 27 yards on four attempts in the 44-11 win over BYU ... included in that total was a season-long 16-yard rush ... had a career-best five carries in the 42-17 victory against Baylor.

Four-star recruit … the No. 23 running back in the nation and No. 61 overall prospect in Texas … rushed for 1,589 yards and 20 touchdowns on a 9.4 per carry average as a senior … closed his three-year varsity career with 2,899 yards and 29 touchdowns … averaged 8.4 yards per carry and 120.8 yards per game … also had eight receptions for 141 yards and a touchdown his senior year … rushed for 695 yards on an 8.0 per carry mark in seven games as a junior … First-Team Texas District 25-6A as a sophomore when he ran for 615 yards on a 7.0 per carry average … also played varsity baseball and competed in the long jump and 4x100 relay in track and field … won the long jump district championship as a junior with a 22-4.5 mark.
