Montgomery enters her 16th season as the Director of Baseball Operations. She is responsible for all the administrative aspects of the program, including travel, meals and accommodations. She is also responsible for handling the Diamond Club. Along with that, she serves as the Community Service director and the liaison between umpires and the visiting teams.
In her time with the Horned Frogs, she has been on staff for all six appearances in the College World Series. TCU has advanced to the postseason in 11 of 14 seasons. The Horned Frogs have claimed 12 conference championships - seven regular season titles and five tournament crowns
In addition to her duties within the baseball program, Montgomery has become an integral part of the athletic staff. She graduated from the Master Leaders Program in addition to serving on staff assembly. In the summer of 2020, she took on a leadership role in the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion program.
A native of Olney, Texas, Montgomery spent four years working in the media relations department while obtaining her undergraduate degree. In her time with the department, Montgomery assisted at all home events, including football, basketball and baseball.
As a student at TCU, Montgomery was very involved in all aspects of campus life. She was a three-year member of the Diamond Darlings as well as being a member of Alpha Chi Omega. She served a year on the executive board before spending her senior year as president of the sorority.
A stand-out in the classroom, Montgomery is a member of the Order of Omega, the Greek Honors Society.
Montgomery has been involved in baseball in some capacity since high school. She kept stats for her high school team before joining the media relations department at TCU as a freshman where she assisted with game day operations for football, basketball and baseball.
In the summer of 2006, Montgomery interned with the Texas Collegiate League’s Graham Roughnecks. Her duties with Roughnecks included preparing the game script, on-field promotions and arranging community service appearances.
The following summer, Montgomery interned with the Texas Collegiate League. She was responsible for coordinating bus travel, scheduling promotions and helping with on-field promotions. She also represented the league through on-site visitations as well as running the All-Star Game promotions.
A 2009 graduate of TCU, Montgomery received her Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Middle School Math. She completed her master’s in middle school education. Her sister, Megan, is also a graduate of TCU.
