Temporary Seat Selection for the 2020 Football Season
At this time, based on health and safety recommendations from state and local authorities TCU will have a maximum capacity of 12,000 for home football games. In an effort to accommodate as many season ticket accounts as possible, while still providing tickets for the entire season, we will conduct a seat selection process starting August 24th.
- Similar to our normal upgrade process, each season ticket account, based on priority rank within the Horned Frogs Priority Points System, will be assigned a selection date and time to log into their online account and select the seats they want for the 2020 season. Essentially this is a re-seating plan for the 2020 season only.
- The maximum number of tickets allowed per season ticket account will be four (4).
- This process will only affect the 2020 season and all accounts will be given the opportunity to renew their pre-existing seats for the 2021 season.
- Fans that wish to opt-out of the 2020 season may do so by contacting the ticket office at 817-257-3764 or tickets@tcu.edu.
- Season ticket accounts that elect to opt-out will automatically have their previous payments applied as a credit toward their 2021 renewal.
- Requests to have previous payments converted into a donation to the newly established Frog Club Purple & White Fund, which is eligible for a tax deduction and will receive double Horned Frog Priority Points (6 points per $100), please contact the Frog Club (817.257.7700 or frogclub@tcu.edu).
- To request a refund to your season ticket account, please email the ticket office (tickets@tcu.edu).
As we try to keep the stadium purple and help other Horned Frogs that might not have been able to select season tickets, a new opportunity will be available for the 2020 football season only.
- Simply log into your online season ticket account and select the “Return”.
- Choose the game(s) and ticket(s) that you will not be using.
- Return them to TCU for a credit to your account. The credit will be applied to your 2021 season renewal.
- The returned tickets will then be available only to other TCU season ticket holders to purchase online.

Frog Club Donor Parking for 2020
While subject to change, at this time, parking lot or space assignments will not change for donor parking. Parking lots will open 3 hours prior to kick off. More information, including an updated 2020 Football Parking Policy Manual, will be communicated directly by the Frog Club to all donor parkers in the near future.
Tailgating for 2020
In order to provide the safest environment for fans to enjoy TCU Football this fall, tailgating will be prohibited in all lots and spaces. Lots will open 3 hours prior to kick off and close following the conclusion of the game. An uncontrolled tailgating environment could jeopardize the opportunity for fans to attend home games and safely host the 2020 football season.
TCU will transition to mobile-only ticketing for the 2020 football season. This shift is necessary due to the limited time between seat selection and the first game. This option also provides a safer, contactless ticketing environment for fans as well as transferring tickets to friends if unable to attend.
Fans will receive their tickets via email, allowing them to download tickets into their Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Pay Wallet (Android). Prior to reaching the gates, ticket holders will open their digital wallet, select the game tickets and hold their phone near the ticket scanner.
Anyone without a smartphone may contact the TCU Athletics Ticket Office at 817-257-3764 or tickets@tcu.edu in advance of game day for options.
