Statement From TCU Athletics Director Eric Hyman

STATEMENT FROM ERIC HYMAN:
Recently, I was contacted by the University of Georgia regarding their athletics director position. I was flattered to be considered. However, after talking with a representative from Georgia, I have notified our Chancellor that I am no longer a candidate for the position.
To be considered for a position like that is a direct reflection on what we've accomplished at TCU, and speaks volumes for the efforts and achievements our administration, coaches and student-athletes have made. This is a reflection of the high regard in which TCU is held nationally.
My family and I love Fort Worth and the TCU community and look forward to a bowl win on Tuesday and a great 2004.
