TCU Athletics Leads 1,000 Toy March Into Cook Children's

FORT WORTH, Texas -- On Tuesday morning, members of the TCU Athletics Department took a few hours out of their day to distribute toys to children at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth. The 1,000 Toy March was a holiday event orchestrated by the department's social committee.
Over the last two weeks, TCU student-athletes, coaches and staff members collected unwrapped toys and placed them under the Christmas tree in the John Justin Athletic Center. Today, representatives from baseball, women's basketball, women's golf, men's and women's soccer, women's track, volleyball, sports marketing and media relations brought the toys to the children.
Student-athletes who participated in today's activities were: Julie Curtis (women's track), Niki Newton (women's basketball), Kim Ortega (women's basketball), Chris Osentowski (baseball) and Tracy Wynn (women's basketball). Horned Frog head coaches Angie Ravaioli-Larkin (women's golf) and David Rubinson (soccer) were also present.
