TCU Athletics Website to be Launched by FANSonly

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU's new athletic Internet website will be launched on Friday afternoon, TCU Director of Athletics Eric Hyman announced today. The visually attractive new site (http://www.GOFROGS.com) will be a product of FANSonly, the country's largest supplier of Internet sites for university athletics, and the TCU athletic department.
"The partnership between TCU Athletics and FANSonly will provide our fans with the most up-to-date news on the Frogs while also providing an interactive, entertaining element to the site," Hyman said.
In addition to up-to-date press releases on Horned Frog athletic events, the site will feature photos, stats, schedules, results, rosters, player and coach biographies and ticket information for each of TCU's 20 varsity sports. Special interactive features, including fan polls and an "Ask the Frogs" page, will offer users a chance to submit opinions and questions. TCU's official athletics website will be the only site whereby fans can ask questions of TCU coaches and student-athletes. Another new feature will be "Around the Horned," a weekly column written by Brian Estridge, "The Voice of the Frogs."
"We recognize that the Internet is a powerful communications tool," said Kevin O'Connell, TCU's Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs. "We teamed with FANSonly to create a site that is functional, user-friendly, informative and attractive."
Thanks to the latest in Internet technology, www.GOFROGS.com fans will be able to access press conferences and postgame audio clips from selected sports. Future plans call for the integration of video highlights to the site as well. TCU's Official Athletics Site will soon launch an online store, offering TCU fans across the country access to the finest licensed merchandise and apparel.
Frogs fans can expect the new site to be launched around 6:00 p.m. CT.
