Mike Martin Receives National Honor

The Collegiate Sports Video Association named TCU's Football Video Coordinator Mike Martin the 2000-2001 Bob Matey/CSVA National Video Coordinator of the Year at the 7th Annual CSVA Educational Seminar and Conference held in May of 2001.
The National Video Coordinator of the Year is selected each year from among the Conference Video Coordinators of the Year. The award is named in honor of Texas A&M' s former Video Coordinator, Bob Matey and is presented to the collegiate Video Coordinator who exhibits excellence in the field.
"Having a quality video department to service your athletic program can help further the success of the teams it serves. Martin's success is seen within the video tape product he creates and evidenced on the football field," Rick Bagby, president of the CSVA.
Martin was selected by his peers as the outstanding Video Coordinator in the Western Athletic Conference. He was chosen as co-runner up for the award in 1998. Martin is in his 6th year as the Video Coordinator at TCU.
